Research with Kyushu University on the physiological effects of volatile compounds released from Himekomatsu wood.
九州大学との共同研究により、ヒメコマツ材の揮発性成分が人の生理反応に及ぼす影響を検証。

Anaïs — Research Residency
A month-long research residency at FUSHI, supporting an independent inquiry into cracks and imperfections in discarded wood, including an exploration of urushi techniques.
FUSHIに約1か月滞在し、捨てられる可能性のある木材の割れや傷を起点に、漆の技法も含めて独自の探究を進めたリサーチ・レジデンシー。

From a cherry tree rooted in Sakurajosui.
A large cherry tree once stood in Sakurajosui, a residential neighborhood in Tokyo.This project transforms the tree into furniture for the house and garden on the same site.
東京の住宅地、桜上水に立っていた大きな桜。その木を、同じ土地で使われる家と庭の家具へとつないでいくプロジェクト。

Living with Trees — Japan House London
A conversation on the relationship between people and trees, combining dialogue with a demonstration of the traditional yariganna.
人と木の関係をめぐる対話と、伝統的な槍鉋による実演。
