開発に至る思い
"私はお客様が入居する前の住まいに、家具の納品に行くことが多かったが、いつもめまいしそうなほど酷い空気に悩まされてきた。子供が危ない、見えない空気を変えなければと思った。"

特徴
空気が木材由来の成分となるよう建材や仕上げを決定し、合成化学物質を揮発するものを徹底的に排除。多様な地域材を天然乾燥、カンナ仕上げ、無塗装で使うことで、地域の森の中にいるような空気で健康に暮らす。
Characteristics: Building materials and finishes are determined so that the indoor air quality is wood-derived, and synthetic chemical volatiles are thoroughly eliminated. By using a variety of traceable local timbers, naturally dried, canna-finished, and uncoated, the house is a healthy living space that feels like being in a local forest.

FUSHI の科学
Science of FUSHI
九州大学との共同研究により、香りを感じない低濃度の方が脳の鎮静効果が高いことが判明。無塗装の木材からの揮発成分に人が反応していることがわかり始めている。FUSHIは研究を継続している。
Joint research with Kyushu University has revealed that low concentrations of the fragrance have a greater calming effect on the brain. FUSHI will continue its research.

背景林から里山林へ
背景林のある地に家を建て、オーナー（もしくは利用者）が楽しみながら収益を生む里山林に変えていく。多様な植物が育ち、木材・木の実・山菜の得られる豊かな里山林には、昆虫や動物が自然と集まる。日本の四季を感じる里山で健康に暮らす。
From Background Forest to Satoyama Forest
The house is built on a plot of land with a background forest, and the owner (or user) enjoys transforming it into a profit-generating Satoyama forest. Insects and animals naturally gather in satoyama forests, where a variety of plants grow and where lumber, nuts, and wild vegetables are abundant. People can live a healthy life in satoyama, where they can experience the four seasons of Japan.
